So the saying goes 'necessity is the mother of invention'. That truly
applies to the advent of the Flip 'n Pick. Having so many delicious
clip and keep recipes piling up and underused, Founder & Chief
Operating Officer Marie Stumphauzer wanted to make them work
for her. But the notion of organizing these recipes into a traditional
binder seemed limiting and a recipe box didn't allow for
interaction. This need led to the inspiration of the Flip 'n Pick. With
a homemade prototype in hand, Marie began to use her recipes to
help her plan great meals and she didn't have to spend a lot of time
doing it. Then she realized it could be used for lots of great things!
Flash cards, music, languages, games, crafts, and Occupational
Therapy just to name a few. All her years as a mom, music teacher
and administering therapy to her son had come together in one
project. How cool is that?!
